Something is missing... (there was a ramshackle play shed...) now to work out how to fit some trees, wild garden, firepit and seating into this space :) feels like we are moving well beyond early years parenting... #spring #gardenrescue #nextstageofparentingCleared out the garden and found this beauty :) frog or toad? #springcleaning #firstwarmday #springDaily SPRING is almost here post :) here’s the first wild primrose on our front lawn. Such hope of joys to come. #spring #cantgetenoughofit #hope #joy #primrosesJust started this and already in tears after reading of Dorothy Wordsworth and her love for the Lakes. My heart aches for those hills again but I am delighted to have found such good company for this leaning into the space and place I am journey of now. #womenofnature #naturewriting #achingforthelakes #gladofthesouthdowns #reading #writingwildSpring. Spring. Sunshine. Spring. Ahhhhhh. The smells, the freshness, the blue sky, the feeling of being alive. So happy about some national trust joy this afternoon. Feeling normal is the new normal. #spring #hope #joy #wonderSoooo happy this arrived in my letterbox today. Already the titles make me shiver with joy. #prayer #companionsontheway #womenoffaithArchives

Summer round up
So, the husbandface is currently in the throws of starting a new blog about being a Dad to two boys. This has spurred me into remembering that I too have a blog and quite like this writing thing. So maybe … Continue reading
The holidays are over…
It’s Monday morning, the first day of life beyond the holidays. The boy is sleeping and I’m sitting here trying to collect my thoughts. I can barely believe it’s been a year since I left the world of paid employment … Continue reading
Diary roundup pt 340
So, it’s September. The wind is howling outside and I’m slowly stepping back into this thing called routine. That means more delightful times sitting at this old Macbook (poor thing is getting slower as the world speeds up around it) … Continue reading
Day 18
Thankful for… Our church family, crazy games of hide and seek with small children, roast chicken, sunshine, daffodils, sitting out on our balcony and reading the paper, chatting through life together, tea and prayer around the kitchen table, the anticipation … Continue reading

Getting to hear the wisdom of someone whose been in this kind of work a whole lot longer than I. Encouraged and warned. Wanting to get on and really live. And the soundtrack of my cycle back from the station … Continue reading
