What to expect (and practicalities)

I provide a listening space, a space for you to use to reflect on life and faith, a space to become aware and pay attention to the movements of God in your everyday walking around daily life.

We’ll usually start with some silence, then you can bring anything you would like to the session. There will be time for you talk as I listen, ask questions and reflect back what I’ve heard. Together we will seek to become aware of the Spirit who weaves throughout your unfolding story.

Sessions normally last for an hour, and a helpful rhythm of meeting up is usually every 4-6 weeks (although we can change that if needed.)

I’m located near Downpatrick in Northern Ireland (and spend a lot of my days up near Belfast/Bangor), I can meet in person if you are local and I offer online sessions. I also love meeting people in my campervan and can travel to meet in a nearby park or nature reserve to enjoy the extra dimension being near nature can bring.

In order to pay for my own supervision and ongoing training I ask for a donation for our time together based on what you can afford- anywhere between £10-£50. Obviously if your circumstances mean you can’t pay anything right now then do let me know, I don’t want money to ever be a barrier to anyone.  On the other hand it may be that you can donate a little more in order for others to be able to attend without paying.

What’s the process?

If any of this connects with you and you’d like to explore more or talk through whether this kind of space would be helpful for you I’d love to chat. Book in a free exploratory chat in person or online with me and we can see if we’d be a good fit to walk together for a while on the journey. You can send me a message and details via the contact form to the right hand side of this site.

If you decide it is for you then we’ll agree on when and where we’ll meet. How long we walk together is entirely up to you, we’ll carry on for however long it’s helpful for you and your journey.
