Enjoying a day off, tennis with Mum, good food and chat. Sitting in a chair with a cup of tea and dunking biscuits, the best kind of blissful relaxation. The thought of only 2 more days of work and then nothing for 4 whole days. Genius.

Breakfast with an old friend. Good chats of realising things this afternoon. The unoriginal but yet still unnervingly surprising thought that even in my greatest strengths there will always be weakness, and that is more than ok because my identity and worth are not found in those strengths. Must repeat that 3 times daily. Oh and the big fat full moon on the way home tonight.

Day OFF. Many smiles. The last services at my church, glad of all God has done through the place in the last four years. Very glad. In the midst of sadness at leaving, feeling oh so loved this evening by my Maker through his body, the church… The aw from Bob. The sense of stepping out having NO clue of the results, but glad that I know the One who does. The million cups of tea this afternoon and Kev’s ADHD.

Talking about the brilliant hope we have. Seeing some people smile and seem to really get it. Popping in on Mum and Dad on the way home for more hugs and fun. Home to the other family, good food, wine and more fun.
